Daniel Shadbolt, New English Art Club member, took his foundation at the University of Hertfordshire in 1999. He then moved to London to study Painting at the Chelsea School of Art before completing The Drawing Year in 2004. Daniel then spent two years working for The Royal Drawing School. In 2008 he received the Bulldog Bursary for Portrait Painting and has taught Drawing and Painting at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in Chelsea since.
