Beanstalk Cottage Firle
This unique venue offers the privacy and tranquillity of the English Countryside and stunning views across the South Downs. The cottage runs a cafe offering lunches and teas to be purchased or you could bring a packed lunch to eat outside the cafe grounds. A beautiful and inspiring location.

Coming from Brighton – on the A27 take first exit on the beddingham roundabout, then continue straight on towards Firle. Drive PAST the turn off that says Firle and Firle Place and continue on the A27 to the second turning on the right. You will see a bus stop and as soon as you see that pull over as the turning is just pass the bus stop.
There is a dark green sign saying ‘Private Road, Heighton Street Farm only’ go up there. It is a single track road with some passing places. Carry on going until the tarmac finishes, the lane will naturally bare left and turn into a bumpy track, drive with care on this track then carry on and at the end there is the Beanstalk Cafe Cottage.
Coming from Eastbourne – Take the first left after Middle Farm, You will see a bus stop just ahead and and as soon as you see that pull over as the turning is just before the bus stop.

Trains run to Lewes and Glynde where it would be possible to pick up a taxi to take you to Firle.
