2 Days | Acrylic | 10am - 4pm | September 20th & 21st 2025 Join Molly Van Amerongen for this engaging and exciting two day course of painting into abstraction. Molly is an Irish artist, living and working in London, who uses oils, acrylic, pigment and collage in her work. Students will be encouraged to start with drawing and develop these drawings into painting or series of expressive marks. Using elements and motifs from the everyday to spark a movement, Molly will encourage students to take creative risks and open up to new approaches to drawing and painting. Each student will be developing drawings from every day memory and imagination into an expressive mark making exercise, letting the sensation lead the mark making. This course encourages a playful approach to working from life and will offer strategies for developing meaningful images. Students will combine observation of their surroundings with inspiration taken from the landscape, props, sound, touch and memory to create something with personal meaning. Memory and imagination will interact. Come and join us for the unforgettable experience. We have a maximum of 10 students. Materials are not included, information will be emailed on booking. Pay full amount or deposit. Balance due no later than 8 weeks prior to the course date. We ask everyone to familiarise themselves with our Terms and Conditions when booking, thank you.
